Free Admission at RAM Downtown

Racine County residents enjoy free general admission at RAM Downtown with a valid ID, thanks to support from the Osborne & Scekic Family Foundation.

Visitors can also enjoy free admission on select First Fridays throughout the year. Children age 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult (up to three children per adult).

Parking

RAM Downtown does not have a public parking lot. Ample parking is available in metered spaces and in two nearby parking structures—one opposite the gallery at the intersection of Lake Avenue and 5th Street, and another along Lake Avenue off of 3rd Street. There is a loading zone along RAM Downtown’s south side on 5th Street for passenger drop-off and pickup, and for tour buses.

Where are the Racine Art Museum locations?

Racine Art Museum has two locations: RAM Downtown in the heart of downtown Racine and RAM Wustum, located in a historic residential neighborhood. Both sites are a short drive from each other and offer unique exhibitions and experiences.

What is the difference between RAM Downtown and RAM Wustum?

RAM Downtown focuses on contemporary craft and rotating exhibitions featuring national and international artists. RAM Wustum offers a more intimate setting with exhibitions, art classes, and community programs. Together, they provide a full spectrum of art experiences for visitors of all ages.

What are the hours and admission fees for visiting RAM?

RAM Downtown is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with extended hours on Thursday until 8:00 pm, and Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. RAM Wustum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Admission at RAM Downtown is $15 for adults and $10 for students, seniors (62+), and veterans (with valid ID), while children 12 and under, Racine County residents (with valid ID), RAM members, NARM/ROAM/AAM members, and active-duty military receive free admission. Admission at RAM Wustum is always free.

Select special exhibitions and events may require separate admission, which is free for RAM members.
