Guidelines
- For the safety of visitors and the artwork, please do not touch the works. Some exhibitions include tactile samples of materials found throughout the gallery spaces, which are labeled separately from other works on display and may be touched.
- Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are not admitted without adult supervision. Up to three children under the age of 12 can enter RAM for free with paid adult admission.
- Food and drinks, including water, are not allowed in the galleries at either museum. Please leave these with the reception staff. Water fountains are located near the bathrooms on both floors at RAM.
- Please leave backpacks and large bags with the reception staff. Medical and small diaper bags are permitted.
- Do not enter restricted or non-public areas. This includes stepping beyond barriers or onto platforms.
- Do not run, jump, or roughhouse in the galleries or climb on pedestals.
- Do not smoke, vape, or chew tobacco inside the museum.
- Verbally abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or threatening statements or behavior toward RAM staff, volunteers, and guests is prohibited.
- RAM and Wustum reserve the right to refuse or revoke the admission, without refund, of any person whose conduct opposes these guidelines.

What are the visitor guidelines at the Racine Art Museum?
Visitors are asked to help protect the artwork by following museum guidelines, including no touching artwork, no running in galleries, and respecting staff, volunteers, and other guests.
Can I bring food or drinks into the RAM museum galleries?
No. Food and drinks, including water bottles, are not allowed inside the galleries at RAM or Wustum. Reception staff can assist with storing items during your visit.
Are children allowed at RAM Downtown and RAM Wustum?
Yes. Children are welcome at both museums, but guests under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Can I bring a backpack or a large bag into the Racine Art Museum?
Large bags and backpacks should be left with the reception staff before entering the galleries. Small diaper bags and medical bags are permitted.
