About the artwork.

Keiko Hara is a multidisciplinary artist particularly known for her printmaking proficiency. Hara is considered an authority on mokuhanga – Japanese woodblock printing. The prints that Hara creates such as Distant Rain are abstract compositions that consist of vibrant and intense colors. Her pieces symbolize the tactility of objects, their connection to nature, and how people perceive, feel, and conceive the universe
