English Paper Piecing Workshop with Rosy Petri

As part of the In/Between Festival, meet artist Rosy Petri and discover the timeless craft of English Paper Piecing (EPP). A self-taught mixed media artist, Rosy created the community quilt All This and More, featured in Handcrafted: RAM Community Art Show at RAM Wustum. Throughout the event, she’ll share the inspiration behind her work, demonstrate her creative process, and introduce visitors to the fundamentals of this relaxing hand-sewing technique.

English Paper Piecing is a portable, beginner-friendly method in which fabric is wrapped around paper templates and hand stitched together to create beautiful geometric patterns. Requiring only a few simple tools, EPP is perfect for using fabric scraps, stitching while traveling, or enjoying a mindful creative practice at home.
