SPARK! on the Road

SPARK! on the Road

Trained museum educators bring visual art, sensory exploration, and hands-on creative experiences to senior groups with people in the early to early-mid stages of dementia or memory loss. Each program offers engaging topics, meaningful connections, and opportunities for creative expression in a welcoming environment.

For more information about SPARK! on the Road or to schedule a visit, please contact RAM Director of Education Tricia Blasko at tblasko@ramart.org or 262.636.9573.

Guidelines for SPARK! on the Road

  • A minimum of 8 and maximum of 20 participants is required.

  • Each program is 1-1.5 hours in length.

  • Organizations must provide at least one staff or volunteer for groups larger than 10.

  • There must be adequate table space for the group; sinks and water access are needed.

  • SPARK! on the Road will visit an organization in Racine four times annually. Special requests for additional programs will be considered.

  • SPARK! on the Road can be scheduled between 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Tuesday – Friday.

  • Programs requests must be at least one month in advance, and are based on the museum’s availability.

  • SPARK! on the Road is free* for City of Racine area organizations, within 15 miles of RAM Downtown and RAM Wustum.

*A minimal travel fee for organizations between 15-30 miles from RAM Wustum will be assessed. Organizations beyond these boundaries will be subject to a larger fee, determined on distance and availability.
